Chelsea makes an offer for PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe

Chelsea FC has made an official £40m offer for Paris St Germain center-back Presnel Kimpembe and is back in talks with Sevilla over Jules Kounde, who is a target for Barcelona too.
Thomas Tuchel is aiming to bolster his defense this summer and has turned his attention to the French center-back after securing the signing of Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli.
At one point, Manchester City's Nathan Ake seemed to be Tuchel's favorite before it became clear that the Dutchman would stay at the Etihad. Now, the Blues appears to be choosing between signing Kimpembe or Jules Conde from Sevilla, and according to the Daily Mail, Chelsea has already made a £40m bid for the Paris player. Speaking last week, new PSG coach Christophe Galtier confirmed that he does not know if the France international will spend 2022-23 at the Parc des Princes.
Kimpembe spent his entire career with Paris Saint-Germain, making 221 appearances for the club in all competitions.
