Is Ronaldo re-joining Sporting Lisbon? Man United star gives response

Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has responded to rumors linking him to a return to his first club, Sporting Lisbon, in his native Portugal. Reports from Portugal had recently suggested that Sporting Lisbon were exploring the possibility of re-signing Manchester United icon Cristiano Ronaldo on a loan deal this summer.
Sporting Lisbon is one of a number of clubs said to be a potential destination for Ronaldo, who has reportedly expressed his desire to leave Manchester United this summer.
Ronaldo spent time at his boyhood club in the 2002-03 season, scoring five goals in 31 appearances before moving to England on his first spell with the Red Devils.
Rumors began circulating online that the 37-year-old might return to the Portuguese club this summer after a picture of him spread near his club's stadium, and was published by Portuguese media.
But the Portuguese international denied these rumors by commenting under the post: "Incorrect."
Despite the response, speculation continues about Ronaldo's future, with the veteran currently training at home after being given permission to miss United's pre-season tour due to a family issue.
