Officially: Barcelona announces agreement to sign Brazilian winger Rafinha

Barcelona has officially announced the signing of Brazilian winger Rafinha from Leeds United, after a long period of negotiations between the two teams, to resolve the player's desire.
The financially strapped Spanish club Barcelona announced that it had reached a preliminary agreement to sign the Brazilian international winger Rafinha from Leeds United, according to what was announced in a statement on Wednesday.
Barcelona said on its official website: "Barcelona and Leeds United have reached an agreement in principle regarding the joining of Rafael (Ravenha) to our club, pending the player's passing the medical tests."
Leeds has accepted Barcelona's official offer for the 25-year-old with an initial value of 58 million euros, which could rise to 68 million euros with additions. Rafinha has been an invaluable asset to Leeds since joining the club from Rennes in the summer of 2020, scoring 17 goals and assisting 12 in 67 games in all competitions, including 11 in the Premier League last season.
This summer, Barcelona succeeded in signing Andreas Christensen after the end of his contract with Chelsea, and also signed free of charge with Frank Kessie from Milan.
