The reasons for Inter’s failure to get Paulo Dybala deal over

Press reports revealed that Chelsea has put Manchester United's midfielder Frenkie de Jong's pursuit under serious threat during the current summer Mercato. According to Gerard Romero, who first broke United's interest in De Jong, Chelsea is doing 'everything' to sign the 25-year-old this summer. New owner Todd Boehly wants to start his reign at Stamford Bridge with a statement by bolstering Thomas Tuchel's squad by reuniting De Jong and former Ajax teammate Matthijs de Ligt.
The Spanish outlet added that after Chelsea ' burst' into the picture for the Netherlands international, two players Barcelona are interested in are 'on the table'. The La Liga giants want to return Blues captain Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso to their homeland ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Romero added that Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel wants to strengthen the team's midfield, especially since the duo, N'Golo Kante and Jorginho, have only one year on their contract with the club.
Barcelona is seeking to sell its Dutch player this summer, despite the player's insistence on staying, but the club's management stipulated that he should reduce his salary in order to allow him to stay with the team next season.
