Bayern Munich enters the race to sign Juventus center-back Matthijs de Ligt 

German press reports revealed Bayern Munich has entered the race to sign highly-rated Juventus center-back Matthijs de Ligt Ajax, a long-term target of Barcelona during the current summer transfer market. According to Bild, a German tabloid newspaper, Bayern Munich inquired of Juventus about the possibility of contracting Dutch defender Matthias de Ligt, who expressed a strong desire to leave Juve during the current summer MercatThe newspaper added that the Bavarian club has not held any negotiations so far, whether with the player or the club, but it will monitor the player’s position during the coming period in light of the club’s officials knowing the extent of De Ligt’s quality.
The newspaper pointed out that Chelsea remains at the top of the list of clubs interested in obtaining the services of De Ligt, in light of the recent negotiations between the Blues and Juve.
