Man United reiterates Cristiano Ronaldo stance amid exit reports

Press reports from the UK indicated that Manchester United has once again insisted Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale, despite reports claiming he has asked to leave the club. It is believed that Ronaldo has told the Red Devils that he wants to leave this summer in search of a new destination, and has asked the club to listen to offers interested in his services. However, according to journalist Samuel Lockhurst, Man United remains determined to keep Portugal international, insisting that the player is not easy to leave at this time. Despite the ongoing speculation, senior club sources insist the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is not for sale. Ronaldo’s future has been a constant source of debate since he made his return to Old Trafford last summer.
The 37-year-old still has another year to the expiration of his contract at Old Trafford, with the option of another 12 months, so he will not be allowed to leave unless Man United agrees to sell him.
Ronaldo scored 24 times and registered three assists in 37 appearances at the club level last season, including 18 goals in 30 Premier League games.
