Turkish champions Trabzonspor and Aston Villa reached an agreement to sign Trezeguet

Press reports revealed that English “Aston Villa” and Turkish “Trabzonspor” reached an agreement on the transfer of the Egyptian winger Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet during the current summer transfer market. Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted saying that 27-year-old football player Mahmoud Hassan, known as Trezeguet and playing with the corresponding name on a T-shirt, also spent the end of the 2021/22 season in the Turkish Championship – at the Istanbul Basaksehir club. However, the rights to him belong to Aston Villa, which in 2019 acquired the player from Kasimpasi. For the English team, Trezeguet played 64 matches in total and scored 9 goals. His contract expires in a year – in June 2023. Journalist Fabrizio Romano added that negotiations will continue between the two parties in the next few days to finalize the remaining details before the official announcement of the deal.
It is expected that the Trabzonspor will be the third destination choice for the 27-year-old, in Turkish stadiums after Qasim Pasha's team. Mahmoud Trezeguet also spent the last six months of last season on loan to the Basaksehir team.
