Barcelona officially unveil its second gold away kit for the new season

FC Barcelona has unveiled its second alternative strip for the 2022/23 season, which, like the first, is inspired by the Olympics. Barcelona embarks on the club’s new gold away kit for the 2022-23 season on Monday, which will be played outside Camp Nou stadium, during the tournaments in which it will participate next season, the Spanish League, the European Champions League, the King's Cup and the Spanish Super Cup. Teenage midfielder Pedri was front and center of the new launch. Ansu Fati, Gavi, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are also shown in the club’s first social media post. Barcelona’s latest kit is inspired by the Olympic Games which were held in the city 30 years ago. The kit is all gold and the shirt includes a pattern based on the map of Barcelona. The club badge, logos, and players’ names and numbers are all in dark blue. This golden color also symbolizes all the values that go into winning an Olympic gold medal, such as tenacity, ambition, effort, and the constant quest for self-improvement, and also how gold medal-winning athletes set the standard for others to aspire to. FC Barcelona also wanted the second strip to be a special nod to the women’s football team, which in recent years has gone on a journey that embodies all these values. Barcelona will start the pre-season preparation period next July 4, with its first friendly match against the Catalan club Olot on July 24.
Barcelona, led by Xavi Hernandez, finished on 91 points, one point above second-placed Real Madrid, the defending champion.
