Gareth Bale moves to Major League Soccer after Real Madrid exit
Wales captain Gareth Bale confirmed his move to Major League Soccer's Los Angeles FC following his departure from Spanish giants Real Madrid. Gareth Bale has announced that he is joining MLS outfit Los Angeles FC during the current summer transfer period on a free transfer. Gareth Bale, the former Tottenham, and Real Madrid star will not be the sole that has played in the American League after spending a period in the Premier League.
The most prominent of these players are Xherdan Shaqiri, Carlos Vela, Javier Hernandez "Chicarito", Michael Bradley, Brad Guzan, Carles Gil, and Victor Wanyama. The 32-year-old has departed Real Madrid as a free agent this summer, and he has been strongly linked with a move to Cardiff City ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
The Wales international is believed to have agreed on a one-year contract with the MLS outfit, and he will follow legendary center-back Giorgio Chiellini to the club, with the Italian running down his contract at Juventus before making the move to Los Angeles.
