Chelsea working on a new bid to sign Man City star Sterling

Chelsea FC is reportedly keen to sign Manchester City's Raheem Sterling ahead of the current summer transfer market, in a step towards injecting new impetus to strengthen the forward line. Sky Sports reported that Todd Boehly, the new owner of Chelsea FC, is leading the negotiations to sign Sterling, especially after the departure of sporting director Marina Granovska. Sky added that the Blues Board is reportedly preparing a new offer bid-offer of 45 million pounds for Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling after the Citizens rejected their €25 million, which is a major goal for German coach Thomas Tuchel in order to strengthen the team's front line during the coming period.
Sterling's contract with Manchester City is set to expire in the summer of 2023, so it is expected that the club's management will agree to sell him this summer in order not to leave him for free, especially as the two parties do not reach an agreement to renew the contract.
