Bayern Munich announces contract with Sadio Mane until 2025

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have announced the signing of Senegalese forward Sadio Mane from Liverpool, during the current summer transfer market on a 3-year contract. The Teranga star will continue with the Bavarian team until 2025. German press reports revealed that Bayern is set to pay an initial £42.5m for the Senegal international. Sadio Mané: "I'm very happy to finally be with FC Bayern in Munich. We had a lot of talks and I felt a great interest in this big club from the start. So there was no doubt in my mind right from the start: This is the right time for this challenge. I want to achieve a lot with this club, and also internationally. During my time in Salzburg, I followed many FC Bayern games - I like this club very much!"
Mane is the third signing for the German champions this summer after Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberg and Moroccan right-back Nassir Mazraoui, both from Ajax Amsterdam.
