Real Valladolid club changes its "emblem"!

The Real Valladolid presented its new brand identity shield coinciding with the 94th anniversary of the entity.  Former Brazilian striker, Ronaldo Nazario is the club president of the Spanish Segunda side, Real Valladolid. The process of changing the emblem sparked great controversy, as the majority of the fans on social networking sites rejected this change, which spanned over 3 years, during which the club conducted a "deep investigation to lay the foundations and highlight its identity towards the future."Valladolid presented its new brand identity, as it renewed its logo, made changes in its colors, and simplified its shape, which sparked controversy among the club's supporters and fans. The club justifies the new shield as a lap to the origins and highlights the value of the “v“. In the new design there is no trace of the famous bay leaf and the crown is minimized.
