Officially: Giorgio Chiellini moves to Los Angeles FC after 18 years in the Juventus shirt

Veteran Italian star Giorgio Chiellini officially joins Los Angeles FC on a free transfer after an 18-year stint with Juventus of Serie A in Italy. Galaxy FC announced the deal on its accounts on social media, with a clip showing the club's equipment inside a package with the comment "soon", so Chiellini responded from his account to the tweet as an official announcement of the deal that was expected.
The player joined Juventus in 2004 from Rome, before going out on loan for a season with Fiorentina, and returning to start his long career with the old lady.
Chiellini played 561 games with Juventus, during which he scored 36 goals and assisted 25, won 20 championships with him and reached the Champions League final twice.
The 37-year-old veteran defender joins Galaxy, which has former Brazilian teammate Douglas Costa.
