Liverpool target Darwin Nunez has missed Uruguay's friendly match' as he looks to complete a move to Anfield this summer. The reds target Darwin Nunez who is reportedly set to miss Uruguay's fixture Saturday in order to get his move over the line.
With the transfer window open and well underway, all talk is surrounding Liverpool and their move for Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.
The forward was linked with a move to Manchester United, but he is believed to have made it clear to his club that he only wants Liverpool so he can play Champions League football under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp.

According to the report, Nunez will not be playing for Uruguay against Panama tonight - in order to allow him to fly to England to complete a switch from Benfica to Liverpool.
The ECHO understands a fee is yet to be agreed between the two clubs, but Liverpool is hoping to strike a deal for a player who has emerged as their top summer target.
The Reds will not make a move at any cost and have noted Benfica's asking price of a flat €100million (£86 m).
Liverpool's move for Nunez is understood to be linked to the future of Mane. The Reds want to buy the 22-year-old as a replacement for Mane and are reluctant to proceed until they receive guarantees over the transfer of the Senegalese star.
Darwin Nunez is reportedly on the brink of joining Liverpool and was left out of Uruguay's 5-0 friendly win over Panama on Saturday, with reports suggesting Nunez was completing a medical with Liverpool instead.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news and also suggested that the transfer be completed in the coming days, with the forward's representatives preparing to make the trip to England to complete the transfer.
"Uruguay confirms that Darwin Nunez has been left out of the squad for tonight's match, and there are no risks as he prepares to complete his move to Liverpool in the coming days," Romano said in a tweet from his official Twitter account on Saturday.
He added: "Darwin and his clients plan to travel to England following a verbal agreement between Liverpool and Benfica."
With Luis Suarez not included in Uruguay's squad either, Edinson Cavani scored a brace in Montevideo on Saturday, with Nicolas de la Cruz, Maxi Gomez, and Diego Rossi scoring another three goals during the match against Panama.
