But the Netherlands snatched a fatal victory after scoring the second goal through Figurst in the fourth minute of extra time. The Dutch opened their campaign with the current edition of the European Nations League with a wide away victory over Belgium by four to one goal, while Wales fell in the first round of the European Nations League against Poland by2-1. With this victory, the Netherlands team raised its score to the sixth point at the top of the group, while Wales’ balance froze at the first point in fourth place. Netherlands moves top of Group A4 in the Nations League, while Wales remain bottom of the four teams after back-to-back defeats in the competition.
The Netherlands team is preparing to face Poland, next Saturday, at Feyenoord Stadium, in the framework of the third round of the European Nations League, while Wales will face its Belgian counterpart on the same day.
