Report: Di María further away from Juventus as Barcelona enters race

Paris Saint-Germain star Angel Di Maria is prepared to walk away from Ligue 1 and had been linked with Juventus but a free transfer to Barcelona could now be on the cards. Di Maria's contract with Saint-Germain expires on June 30, and the French club decided not to grant him a new contract. The Argentina international has seemingly changed his mind and would rather move to Spain than Italy. PSG forward Di María is starting to change his mind about a free transfer to Juventus this summer as Barcelona has entered the race for the 34-year-old, according to a report from Relevo’s Matteo Moretto.
According to what journalist Fabrizio Romano reported, Angel Di Maria did not reach an agreement with the Juventus board and in the last few hours, he had a conversation with Xavi Hernandez. Journalist Fabrizio Romano said on his Twitter page: "Juventus is not confident in signing Angel Di Maria. The old lady offered him a two-year contract, while the Argentine asked for a one-year contract."He added: "Barcelona is now very close to signing the former Real Madrid star."
Di Maria scored 5 goals and provided 9 assists, during 31 official matches he played for Paris Saint-Germain, last season, before leaving the Parisian ranks.
