De Bruyne Awarded His UEFA A Coaching Licence

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has been awarded his UEFA A coaching license, just days after being crowned the Premier League player of the season .The 30-year-old Belgian, who helped Manchester City to their fourth Premier League title in five years this season, notched a career-high 15 goals and eight assists during the 2021/22 league campaign.
"This training really allows the course participants to think about what they want to do after their career," Chris van der Hagen, Head of the Belgian Football Association's coaching department, said in a statement.
"A lot of players have already made great progress and we are already seeing the results," he added, referring to former defender Thomas Vermaelen, who retired last year and is currently an assistant coach for the national team.
"They have taken their first steps as coaches in Belgium, so they do not have to go abroad immediately."
