Erik ten Hag gave a message for Manchester United players on the first day

Erik ten Hag is being tasked by Manchester United with the mission of restoring harmony in the Manchester United dressing room upon his arrival. This season’s on-field antics have been woeful, which had led to a lot of finger-pointing and a general detachment from supporters. Ten Hag is expected to recruit a number of signings this summer.
Midfield will be a priority with Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, and Nemanja Matic leaving when their contracts expire in June. Reports claim that the ex-Ajax manager is also after attacking reinforcements and at least one other centre-half.
Former United defender Wes Brown admitted that he thinks there will be a large turnover at Old Trafford this summer. Speaking to in-house media, he explained: “For me, quite a lot (of changes will happen).“There are lots of players leaving. He’ll have I’m guessing three or four he’ll need to bring in.”
He also went on to detail what message Ten Hag delivers to his squad on his first day on the job. On-field disharmony was evident during the campaign and Brown said that he would like the new United manager to lay down his principles while also galvanizing the players.
Brown added: “I’m pretty sure as a new manager he will give everyone the respect that’s needed.“But he’ll also hopefully let them know he’s here now: ‘This is what I demand and yes what’s happened in the past has happened in the past, so can we go forward from that and move on?’ That’s what I’m hoping he’s going to say to the players.”
