A remarkable achievement: CAF Super Cup for the first time between two Moroccan giants 

 
Wydad Casablanca will face their compatriot Renaissance Berkane in the African Super Cup for the first time in the history of Moroccan football, as Wydad Casablanca defeated Egyptian outfit Al Ahly 2-0 on Monday to win the CAF Champions League and complete a Moroccan club double in Africa this season .Moroccan giants clinch third CAF Champions League title League winners after securing a win over Al Ahly at Stade Mohamed V in Morocco on Monday in the final of the African Champions League.
Moroccan football is witnessing the first final football match between two Moroccan teams in its history, knowing that Moroccan teams won the Champions League title for the seventh time in its record, with three titles for Wydad, the same for Raja Sports and one title for the Royal Army.
It is expected that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will set the date of CAF Super Cup match between the Red team and its orange counterpart, likely after the end of the current season.
Renaissance Berkane won the second-tier CAF Confederation Cup on May 20 and will face Wydad for the CAF Super Cup after defeating Orlando Pirates of South Africa  1-0 in Nigeria.
