Inter Milan holds off Dybala over potential Lukaku deal

Inter have not made their move to sign Paulo Dybala on a free transfer yet as they wait to see if a deal to re-sign Romelu Lukaku is viable, according to reports. Dybala will be a free agent when his Juve contract expires on June 30, with Inter and Roma among the sides linked with a move. The Nerazzurri are considered favorites for his signature, though no deal has been agreed upon as yet.
Corriere Dello Sport report that is because Inter is waiting to see if bringing Lukaku back to San Siro this summer is viable. Belgium forward was Serie A MVP as Inter won Serie A in 2020-21 but left at the end of the season to join Chelsea, where he has struggled to impose himself.
A recent report suggested he was open to whatever it took to force through a move – even cutting his salary in half.
