Spanish newspapers: Courtois miracles earn 14th European Cup

 
Thibaut Courtois reveled in making the difference as his fine goalkeeping performance guided Real Madrid to a Champions League final victory over Liverpool on Saturday. The Spanish sports newspapers highlighted: that Courtois' brilliance helped Madrid over Liverpool in the final. Thibaut Courtois' excellent goalkeeper play pushed Real Madrid to a win in the Champions League final in crowning the Royal team the 14th European Champions League title in its history, after winning the championship final against Liverpool.
All the Spanish published this morning agreed that Courtois’ dominating performance from Courtois leads Real Madrid to their 14th Champions League title.

Marca newspaper published a Courtois photo saying: "Courtois’s hands save from 24 shots in an inspired performance against Liverpool." MARCA added: "With One of best assists to a killer goal, Real Madrid edge out Liverpool in Paris and won the 14th European Champions League title in 2022."

On its front page, Mundo Deportivo said: "The fourteenth of Courtois."
Mundo added: "Real Madrid won the Champions League with a decisive goal by Vinicius Junior in the 58th minute; the Belgian goalkeeper Courtois saved 5 wonderful saves from against the brave Liverpool attack."
While the Spanish Sport newspaper wrote in its headline: "Courtois creates a miracle and dedicates the 14th Cup to Real Madrid."
Real Madrid was largely indebted to the heroics of Thibaut Courtois as the goalkeeper who thwarted Liverpool in the Champions League final win.
Sport added that Real Madrid beat Liverpool thanks to Vinicius Junior's only goal and Courtois’s saves, although Klopp's team was much better, he paid a heavy price for missing opportunities.
