Real Madrid claimed their UEFA Champions League title as they edged out Liverpool 

Real Madrid won the Champions League for the 14th time in its history, after beating Liverpool 1-0, during the match that brought the two teams together on Saturday evening at the "De France" stadium, in the Champions League final. Real Madrid won the Champions League for a record-breaking 14th time by defeating Liverpool by a single goal in Paris on Saturday evening. 
Vinicius Junior scored the only goal of the game in the 59th minute, with a fastball in front of the goal, from Fede Valverde's pass from the right side, as Real Madrid won yet another Champions League title at the expense of Liverpool.

Liverpool's lin-up was as follows: 
Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker 
Defenders: Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahim Konate, Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold 
Midfielders: Thiago Alcantara, Fabinho, Henderson Forwards: Sadio Mane, Luis Diaz, And Mohamed Salah.

The final eventually kicked off 36 minutes late, Uefa blamed ‘fake tickets’ for the delays while Liverpool demanded an investigation into the ‘unacceptable’ scenes outside the Stade de France

Liverpool has rallied after an early scare to defeat Villarreal 3-2 and advance to its third Champions League final in five seasons, while the Reds won the first leg 2-0 at Anfield, to qualify for the final of the European Champions League for the tenth time in its history.
