Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho and head coach of AS Roma became the first team to win the maiden edition of the UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) following a 1-0 win over Feyenoord at the National Arena in Tirana, Albania on Wednesday night. Jose Mourinho became the first-ever manager to win European trophies with four different clubs( Porto, Inter Milan, Man United, and Roma), after leading Roma to Europa Conference League glory against Feyenoord.
The Portuguese also became the first coach to win the Champions League and European Conference League. Mourinho has become the second manager to win five major European titles after Giovanni Trapattoni. Mourinho achieved the historic record after Roma clinched the Europa Conference League on Wednesday night. Mourinho is the second coach to win the European Champions League twice, as well as the European League.
