UK press reports have revealed that a new Manchester United captain will be considered if Harry Maguire's role as captain of the club could be taken over from the England defender to install a new skipper next season. Maguire was made skipper at Old Trafford by Ole Gunnar Solskajer just five months after joining the club despite his struggles. Incoming gaffer Erik Ten Hag will have a decision to make a new change when he arrives in the summer after Maguire has been subjected to stick for his performances this campaign.According to ESPN, Maguire is not even sure of his key role at Manchester United next season, with Ten Hag wanting to play a high defensive line against the former Sheffield United youngster. Ronaldo is also set to remain at Old Trafford this summer despite speculation surrounding his future. The 37-year-old has also enjoyed a solid season on a personal level, scoring 24 goals in 38 appearances.
