German press reports revealed that Real Madrid has turned to Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry, after missing out on a deal for Kylian Mbappe. According to the German newspaper “Bild”, Gnabri may become Real Madrid’s alternative during the summer Mercato, in order to strengthen its offensive line, especially after theclubs missed out to sign Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
The newspaper added that the task of Madrid in obtaining the service of the Bavarian player will be somewhat easy, especially since his contract expires in the summer of 2023. Gnabri has not reached an agreement with his club to renew his contract so far, and Bayern Munich may consider selling him this summer so that he does not leave for free.
The 26-year-old played with Bayern Munich this season, and appeared in 45 games in the various competitions, scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists.
