Liverpool's Thiago likely to miss Champions League final

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says Thiago is likely to miss the Champions League final against Real Madrid after the midfielder picked up an injury against Wolves in the final round of the English Premier League. Thiago set up Sadio Mane for the Reds' equalizer at Anfield against Wolves on Sunday, but appeared to hurt himself when playing a pass in first-half stoppage time and walked straight down the tunnel.
“I think he’ll be out of the final but I don’t know," the Liverpool manager said after the game."He’s limping, so it’s maybe not the best sign," Klopp told Sky Sports.
Liverpool is already in doubt about the defending midfielder Fabinho's place in the Champions League final, after he was injured against Aston Villa on May 10 and missed the penalty shootout win over Chelsea in the FA Cup final the following week.
Europe’s Champions League final will be held in Paris next Saturday, in a replay of 2018 final in Kyiv, when Real Madrid won 3-1 after Liverpool's top scorer, Mohamed Salah, was injured early.
The good news is that Salah recovered from injury, appeared as a substitute, and scored a goal against Wolverhampton, to share the Egyptian captain's top scorer in the English Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur striker Son Heung-min.
