Bayern Munich Joins Race To Sign Dembele

Press reports revealed that Bayern Munich has joined the race for Barcelona’s out-of-contract winger Ousmane Dembele. Press reports revealed that Bayern Munich sought to obtain the services of French winger Osman Dembele, in a free transfer deal, during the upcoming summer transfer Mercator, especially since his current contract with Barcelona expires at the end of next June. According to the French newspaper, L'Equipe, Bayern Munich entered into advanced negotiations with Osman Dembele's agent, and they offered a contract for the next 4 years in exchange for an annual salary of 18 million euros. The newspaper added that the distinguished level presented by Dembele in recent months under the leadership of Xavi Hernandez encouraged the Bavarian club to sign him, but he will find strong competition from PSG, who also wants to sign him in the summer.
Spanish press reports had indicated Barcelona's desire to renew Ousmane Dembele's contract, but the financial demands of his agent made it difficult for the club to renew the contract.
Dembele made the move to Barcelona from Bayern’s fellow Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund in 2017 for a fee of around €145m (£123m) and has gone on to make 149 appearances in Spain so far, scoring 32 goals
