Qatar football team to kick-off summer camp in Spain from June 2nd

All players and technical staff led by Spain's Felix Sanchez will be assembling for the summer camp training sessions starting from (June 2nd, 2022), as part of preparations for the 2022 World Cup, which will be held from November 21 to December 18. Qatar's first national team is scheduled to participate in training camp sessions in Spain, which include several friendly matches with European teams. Qatar plays in the FIFA World Cup in Group A, which includes Ecuador, the Netherlands, and Senegal. Al-Annabi will start his World Cup matches against Ecuador on November 21 at  Al-Bayt Stadium, the retractable roof football stadium in the Al-Khor district.
Félix Sánchez, the Spanish head coach of the Qatar national team is working on the final touches on the preparation program and the friendly matches. Recently, intensive contact took place with a number of federations and teams to secure a number of friendly matches, whether in foreign camps or in Doha.
It is expected that the technical staff will reveal the new list of the Qatar national team in the coming days, before traveling to Spain. A number of Al-Annabi Olympic players will be absent from the list due to their preoccupation with the AFC U-23 Championship, which will start early next month in Uzbekistan.
