Medical examination determines striker Salah and defender Virgil van Dijk from the Southampton clash

UK reports revealed that Sunday’s medical examination will determine the position of striker Mohamed Salah and defender Virgil van Dijk from participating in the team's match against Southampton, expected on Tuesday, as both were suffered an injury after they were substituted in Saturday’s match, but Klopp does not believe the pair are suffering from a severe injury.
Liverpool will visit its Southampton counterpart at 21:15 p.m. on Tuesday, at "St. Mary's" in a strong match between the two teams in the 37th and penultimate round of the English Premier League.
According to the British newspaper, “The Times”, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk will be officially absent from the Liverpool and Southampton clash, as Klopp seeks to protect them against any injury ahead of the Champions League final.
The newspaper indicated that Salah and Virgil van Dijk are not certain that they will also participate in the final match of the league against Wolverhampton next week, but anything is possible.
Liverpool is now in the second place with 86 points in 36 matches to pursue leaders Manchester City, who bagged 86 points in 35 games, while Southampton occupies fifteenth place with 40 points
