Inter battle for the Scudetto title goes down in the last round 

The race for the Serie A title will go down to the last day after Inter Milan overcame relegation troubled Cagliari 3-1 at Sardinia Arena, the stronghold of Cagliari in the 37th Serie A competition. Matteo Darmian gave the Nerazzurri the lead in the 25th minute of the first half 1-0. Lautaro Martinez added their second to put his side in complete control in the 51st and 84th minutes, while Charalambos scored the goal of the hosts in the 53rd minute of the match.
Inter Milan's line-up was as follows: 
Goalkeeper: Handanovic 
Defenders: Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni 
Midfielders: Darmian, Barilla, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Perisic 
Forwards: Lautaro Martinez, Dzeko.

AC Milan will take home the Scudetto if they win or draw against Sassuolo, and/or if Inter fails to beat Sampdoria. Inter will have to rely on Sassuolo to beat AC, and they will have to take all three points against Sampdoria.
Inter Milan continues to chase Milan at the top, as it occupies second place with 81 points, while Milan is in the lead with 83 points. Cagliari occupies eighteenth place with 28 points. Simone Inzaghi’s side is at home to Sampdoria next Sunday, while Milan travels to Sassuolo knowing one more victory will end their wait for another Scudetto.
