Real Madrid  looks to reward  Benzema with a new contract 

 
Real Madrid has looked to reward star striker Karim Benzema with a new contract until 2024, after the amazing levels presented by the player during the current season according to reports in Spain. The 34-year-old, Benzema’s contract with the Royal Club will expire before the summer of 2023. According to El Confidencial Spain's leading online newspaper, Real Madrid officials have entered into advanced negotiations with the French star in order to extend his contract until 2024, as a reward for the player’s outstanding performance . Benzema led Real Madrid to reach the final of the Champions League, in addition to winning the two Spanish League titles and the Spanish Super Cup. The French star appeared in 43 games with Real Madrid this season in the various competitions, scoring 43 goals and providing 14assistst. Karim Benzema's move from Lyon to Real Madrid cost 35 million euros back in 2009, in addition to a private jet round trip from Madrid to Lyon.
