Juventus qualified for the Italian Cup final after overcoming Fiorentina in the semi-finals, 3-0 in the first and second leg matches. With the same result, Inter Milan beat its neighbor Milan in the aggregate of the two matches.
The old lady's club managed to beat the Nerazzurri with 309 goals, compared to 252 goals for Inter Milan. Juventus holds the record for winning the most titles (14), the highest number of consecutive cups (4), and having played in the most finals (20). The latest was last season, while Inter Milan won the title 7 times, most recently the 2010-2011 season.
