Spanish press reports revealed Barcelona is interested in taking Liverpool striker Sadio Mane to the Nou Camp next season, in order to obtain the Ballon d’Or. According to the Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona is interested in Senegal and Liverpool football star Sadio Mane in Potential Blockbuster Summer Transfer, as he believes that playing in Spain will bring him closer to winning the Ballon d'Or. The Senegalese international is in the same situation as his strike partners Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino who also have contracts expiring in June 2023.
The newspaper added that the Senegalese international has a contract with the Reds that extends until 2023, and he has not reached an agreement with the Man City Board yet, the matter that may facilitate the process of joining Mane to the Catalan team with the approach of his contract is about to expire. Sky Sports network indicated in a previous report that Bayern Munich is also interested in obtaining the services of Senegalese star Sadio Mane, and the Bavarian administration opened the door to negotiations with the Liverpool star’s agent. Liverpool administration is seeking to keep up the Senegalese star in the coming period, especially since the renewal of the contracts of the Egyptian Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, is one of the conditions for Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Premier League club Liverpool, to renew his contract with the Reds.
