CAF pushes ahead a thrilling decision regarding the final of the African Champions League!

Al-Ahly's former club player captain Ahmed Schubert indicated that the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Patrice Motsebe has already contacted the FIFA Confederations Cup (“Competition”) and requested the postponement of the CAF Champions League final match scheduled for May 28. Ahmed Schubert expressed in radio statements on Monday that:"CAF President received an invitation to attend the final match of the European Champions League, which brings  Real Madrid to go head-to-head against Liverpool in the Champions League final will be played on Saturday, 28 May in the French capital, Paris.")"There is a tendency within CAF to hold the final of the African Champions League on May 22 or next June 15, after the end of the international agenda period set for during the period from May 30 to 14 next month." Schubert continued. Al-Ahly hit Algeria's ES Setif 4-0 in Cairo on Saturday to put one foot into the final of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, as did Morocco's Wydad Casablanca made a big stride towards the final of the African Champions League, after returning with an outright victory over Petro Atletico (3-1) in Angola. Morocco is the first candidate to host the final, but after Al-Ahly club requested that the encounter should be held on a neutral pitch, especially with the Egyptian-Moroccan approaching the final by a large percentage, other opinions appeared in “CAF” with new proposals.
