Benzema eager to have a special record with Real Madrid, aim to outfox Man City tonight

Real Madrid's French striker Karim Benzema will celebrate his 600th match for the Royal team in various competitions, when they encounter Manchester City on Tuesday at "Al Ittihad" stadium, in the first leg of the semi-finals of the European Champions League.
The French star will be the seventh most appearing player in Real Madrid's history with 600 games, equal to the late star Gento, while former star Raul Gonzalez leads the most participating players in the history of the royal club with 741 games.
Prior Tuesday clash, Karim is currently enjoying his best spell of the season; appeared in 599 games for Real Madrid in all competitions, having scored 318 goals, made 157 assists, received 12 yellow cards and was not sent off.Benzema, 34 years old, is having a great season with Real Madrid, scoring 39 goals and providing 13 assists in 40 matches he played in all competitions.
Real Madrid qualified for the semi-finals of the European Champions League after beating Chelsea in the quarter-finals 5-4 on aggregate, while Manchester City secured their place in the Champions League semifinals for the second consecutive season after a fiery goalless draw with Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday saw them progress 1-0 on aggregate.
