Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti acknowledged on his team's exciting victory over Sevilla in the Spanish League, noting that; 'Everyone waits for Madrid to lose but we're on fire' – Ancelotti recognises title is 'really close'. Real Madrid is "close" to sealing the league title after a dramatic comeback win over Sevilla on Sunday.
Real Madrid superbly battled back in Sunday night La Liga action to clinch an outrageous 3-2 win away at Sevilla in an exciting clash on Sunday in the 32nd round of the Spanish League, at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium, the stronghold of the Andalusian club.
Carlo Ancelotti appeared before the media with relief after Real Madrid certified another comeback: “It was a very important victory. The first part was not good but the second part was spectacular. We seemed tired and on the contrary, we had a very strong reaction, with personality and commitment. We also weren’t doing things right with the ball. So, we changed two or three things. We seemed tired in the first half, but were then intense in the second half”.
"We do not understand how the whistles against Vinicius or Diego Carlos sound. The story of Camavinga and the red card, I do not understand that." Ancelotti added.
He went to say:”Everyone is waiting for Madrid to stumble but Madrid doesn't stumble,” Madrid coach Carlo said. “Madrid has heart, character and quality.” – Ancelotti recognises title is 'really close'
Real Madrid boosts the top of the Spanish league standings this season with 75 points, 15 points behind Barcelona, the runner-up with 60 points.
