The International Football Association (FIFA) has outlined players should leave their clubs to link up with their national teams on 14 November 2022. FIFA has also set November 13 as the last date for professionals to participate with their clubs, as scheduled in the list of the 2022 World Cup. FIFA explained that Full list of qualified teams heading to World Cup 2022 tournament in Qatar should be arriving in Doha 5 days prior their first match in their group. FIFA confirmed that the initial full list of qualifiers for Qatar and when line-up and will include 35 players, with up to 23 players in the final list. The 32 slots at this year’s tournament in Qatar are slowly starting to fill up with the full list to be completed by June.
FIFA has set the dates for the friendly matches for the teams seeking to play in Doha after their arrival, as affirmed the eligibility of each qualified team to play a friendly match starting from the date of its arrival in Doha and 5 days prior its first match in the World Cup, where FIFA stipulated obtaining approval The State of Qatar is represented by the Qatar Football Association, FIFA, and the relevant confederations to hold the match. Qatar's bid to host the FIFA World Cup 2022™ included 12 stadiums as per FIFA's requirements, while these friendly matches will be held in the official training sites of each team.
