Despite Infantino’s failed plan for biennial tournament, FIFA wants World Cup every THREE YEARS 

English press reports revealed that No sooner had  the Swiss president, Gianni Infantino admitted defeat in his plan for a World Cup every two years, than he started up a new alternative.
Gianni Infantino, wants to hold the World Cup every three years, after the failure of his first plan to hold it every two years. According to (The Sun) the British tabloid newspaper, published by the News Group of News UK, Infantino, FIFA president, is seeking to hold the greatest show on Earth every THREE years as part of a 36-month tournament cycle, after the defeat he received in his first plan to play every two years.
The newspaper added that Infantino hinted at the idea after last week’s congress of the 211-member associations in Doha, arguing it was “important to do something, whether it’s a World Cup every two years or every three years.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino attended on Friday in Doha  the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Draw Ceremony, which included the inauguration of the official mascot of the tournament "Laeeb".
