Arab teams’ players dominating CAF Champions’ League group stage best squad
Arab club stars dominated the best formation in the sixth and final round of the African Champions’ League group stage, which concluded its competitions last Sunday evening.
The African Champions' League is entering its final phases, and, for the first in time in African Champions' League history, Arab teams’ players in the competition's semi-finals are still dominating the brilliant stars squad from different Arab North African countries, which wrapped-up last Sunday.
Mamelodi Sundowns and Al-Ahly (Group I), Raja Sportive, ES Setif (Group Two), Esperance of Tunisia, CR Belouizdad (Group C), Wydad, Petro Atlético (Group D), all went through after difficult knock-out double-headers in the quarters.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed the ideal squad for the last round of the group stage of the African Champions League, which witnessed the presence of 8 players from Arab clubs.
The best squad chosen was as follows:
Mohamed Awwad, Zamalek's third-choice as goalkeeper
Defenders: Modiba ,SA Sundowns, Yasser Ibrahim Egypt "Al-Ahly", Al-Hadhudi ", Morocco Raja Club Athletic , Ashraf Dari, the Wydad Casablanca.
Midfielders: SA Sundowns , Bradley Ralani, Paroti "Galaxy", Ahmed Abdelkader (Al Ahly) .
Forwards: Al-Hassouni , Wydad AC, Iwala Tuisia "Al-Taraji", Ehab Msakni, Esperance .
