Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal diagnosed with prostate cancer Prior World Cup finals 

Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal on Sunday revealed he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, but he still plans to lead his team at the World Cup in Qatar in seven months' time.
Van Gaal, 70, says I keep my news from the players during the recent international break. Speaking to Dutch broadcaster Humberto, the 70-year-old told RTL television, :”The players "don't know it",  adding that he has revealed that he had not told his players about his diagnosis during the recent international break, as he has already undergone 25 bouts of radiotherapy, including in the evening during training camps with the Dutch team.
"For each period during my time as manager of di national team I do not get to leave for night to go to hospital without di players finding it out until now. While thinking I am in good healthy, but.. do not be so."
"I do not want tell my players because e for influence their performances".For an interview to promote new film about his life, Van Gaal adds: "I do not tell out a lot with illnesses, including with my own wife. So I consider that as just part of life.
Van Gaal's former clubs Manchester United and Barcelona posted messages of support for their former coach on social media after the tweeted news.
