Canada merits Tunisia in the World Cup draw spot

Even though Canada could have secured a berth in Pot 3 of Friday’s World Cup draw with a win in their final World Cup qualifying game against Panama, they ultimately ran out of steam after an improbable run in a 1-0 loss in Panama City.

The draw will determine the composition of the eight groups of four teams that will make up the first phase of the World Cup in Qatar.
