29 teams secured their place at FIFA World Cup including the hosts Qatar
So far, 29 teams have secured their place at the tournament, including the hosts Qatar. Holders France, who won the 2018 tournament, is among those to have already qualified. 12 teams from Europe, as also 4 teams from South America and the same from Asia, 5 teams from Africa, 3 teams from North America and the Caribbean, in addition to the host Qatar team.
There are still 3 teams’ unresolved spot seats in the Qatar World Cup; they will be identified next June through the two World Cup matches between the Peruvian team against the winner of the UAE-Australia clahs, and the second match, Costa Rica with New Zealand, in addition to the European supplement.The draw for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 finals tournament will take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) on Friday, April 1 at 7pm Doha Time.
Holders France, who won the 2018 tournament, is among those to have already qualified after beating Croatia 4-2 in the final match in Moscow.
