Di Maria hints he will retire from Argentina duty after FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

Press reports published on Sunday revealed that Argentine Angel Di Maria, the 34-year-old PSG midfielder took to social media after his side’s win against Venezuela has hinted that he will hang up his international boots after the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Angel Di Maria suggests he has played his last game for Argentina on home soil as he eyes World Cup swan song and praises his international team-mates following their 'perfect' match against Venezuela.

TyC Sports is an Argentine pay television sports channel , reported that Di Maria made his decision to retire internationally after the end of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, adding that the 34-year-old is seeking to provide the new  younger football generations the entire opportunity in the ranks of  Argentine Tango Football national team.

Di Maria, who has netted 24 goals in 122 international matches, made 26 assists so far. Also helped Argentina with its Copa America win last summer.
