North Macedonian President issues a warning to Ronaldo ahead of World Cup play-off qualifier

The Portuguese national team will face North Macedonia next Tuesday evening, at the Dragao stadium, the stronghold of Porto, in the final of the European play-off qualifier for the 2022 World Cup, which Qatar will host at the end of this year.
North Macedonia president Stevo Pendarovski has warned Portugal and their captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, ahead of their FIFA World Cup 2022 playoff final.
President Pendarovski has encouraged his nation to go on and secure qualification to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

He tweeted (via Sporx):"Now is our time. We're one step closer to Qatar. We are grateful for the happiness you have given us."
The president would then fire a warning at Ronaldo and his troops who beat Turkey 3-1 to secure their place in the final next Tuesday.

Pendarovski said:"Cristiano get ready, you are next."

The Portuguese team succeeded in qualifying for the play-off final at the expense of its Turkish rival, by defeating 3-1, in the semi-finals of the European playoff. The Portuguese team failed to qualify directly for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, after occupying the first group rank behind the Serbian team.
