Dembele surprises Barcelona and agrees to join a new arch-rival!

Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele has agreed to join French club Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer this summer, according to reports from English press. The France international entered the final six months of his contract at the Camp Nou and was expected to leave the club during the January transfer window.
However, Dembele remained in Catalonia and has since become a key player in Xavi's squad, scoring one goal and nine assists in 12 La Liga games this season. Barcelona has not ruled out the possibility of concluding a new deal for Dembele, but according to AS, the former Borussia Dortmund player is fully guaranteed to move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The report revealed that Barcelona is now pessimistic about the chances of linking Dembele on new terms, although he has not yet formally agreed to a move to Parc des Princes.
Previously linked with Manchester United and Chelsea, Dembele has scored 32 goals and 30 assists under his belt from 139 appearances for Barcelona since his joining Barca in 2017.
