Milan repeats its longest winning streak in the derby

AC Milan achieved a historic feat in the Derby della Madonnina, defeating their rivals Inter Milan 3-1 in their Serie A match at the San Siro. The Rossoneri continued to make history in the derby, securing their fourth consecutive victory against Inter and repeating a feat they hadn't accomplished since 1973. This win marked only the fourth time in their history that Milan have achieved four consecutive victories in the city derby, a remarkable achievement reflecting their recent dominance over their arch-rivals. Milan had previously accomplished this feat on three other occasions:
1911–1913 (six consecutive wins against Inter),
 1946–1948 (six consecutive wins), and
 1972–1973 (four consecutive wins). Now,
in 2025–2026, they have repeated the feat with four consecutive wins.
Thus, Milan has rewritten history after more than half a century, reaffirming their supremacy in the Derby della Madonnina against Inter Milan.
