Prior facing Algeria: Cameroon goalkeeper narrowly escaped a terrible crash 

 
Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana has been involved in a serious car accident ahead of their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Algeria. The Ajax shot-stopper was reportedly on his way to Doula from the capital city Yaounde on Tuesday morning when the incident happened. This accident took place while going to the camp of his country's national team, in preparation for the two matches of the Algerian national team in the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Cameroonian cfootcameroun website said that Ajax goalkeeper Onana narrowly escaped death after suffering a serious traffic accident on his way from the capital, Yaounde to Douala, to join the national team camp, but he did not suffer any serious injury. 
The Cameroonian website added that the accident did not result in any serious injuries, but the player's car was seriously damaged. 
The Cameroonian national team is preparing to host its Algerian counterpart, on Friday, March 25, while the return match will be held in Algeria on Tuesday, March 29.These tow clashes will determine the qualifier for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The Lions team finished third in the last African Nations Cup, while the Desert Warriors exited the tournament from the group stage
