Galtier:” Messi's contract renewal on discussion, Verratti's will miss Angers game”

Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier confirmed that his Italian star PSG's midfielder  Marco Verratti will be absent against Angers on Wednesday after suffering a quadricep injury in training, where he will miss the match against Angers, scheduled for Wednesday in the French League competitions. Galtier said at the press conference: "Verratti is suffering from new physical problems after the morning training session. In the coming hours, he will undergo medical examinations in order to determine the period of his absence." The injury will be reviewed in 48 hours, meaning the Italian midfielder will not be fit to face Angers.
On the renewal of Messi's contract, the Parisian coach said: "There are discussions. The sports administration exchanged with Messi on the issue of extension. I don't know where it is. Leo seems happy to me in Paris."
