Arsenal set a new club record for the first time in its history

Arsenal set up a fourth-round match with English Premier League title rival Manchester City in the FA Cup by beating third-tier Oxford United 3-0 on Monday. Arsenal achieved a record number of victories for the first time in its history, after defeating Oxford in the third round of competitions in the current edition of the 2022-2023 FA Cup. Statistics reveal that Arsenal, led by coach Mikel Arteta, has won 20 matches in all competitions this season, out of only 25 matches. This is the least number of games Arsenal needed to achieve 20 victories in any season throughout its history. Manchester City will face Arsenal in the FA Cup fourth round scheduled to be held from 27 to 30 January, following the Gunners' 3-0 win over Oxford.
