Guardiola: Facing Chelsea is always difficult, Arsenal makes it hard for us to defend the title

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola will speak to the media on Wednesday afternoon ahead of Manchester City's clash with Chelsea. Guardiola stressed the difficulty of the confrontation that awaits them against its host Chelsea, which is scheduled for Thursday at Stamford Bridge at the end of the nineteenth round of the English Premier League. Guardiola says City must be ‘almost perfect’ between now and the end of the season to rival Arsenal for the Premier League title. He stresses that the way to compete with the Gunners is to ‘play good and win games’. He said: “The way you have to reduce the gap is to play well and win games. “They have an average they’re going to do 100 points, Arsenal, the way they’ve done so far. “If they continue that way, we will not catch them. So you have to be almost perfect, I would say. “Yesterday they were excellent against Newcastle again. We will see what happens.”The Gunners had 17 shots against Eddie Howe's side but couldn't break down the toughest defense in the Premier League, which has leaked just 11 goals in 18 games. The city ranks first in the English Premier League table, with 36 points, behind Arsenal, who are in the lead, with 44 points.
